I have my sheet mask on, I’m sipping my fancy tea, and I’m ready to tell you about my favorite moisturizer at the moment. I’ve been using this cream nightly during the winter season, and my skin looks amazing when I wake up in the morning. I think that this moisturizer is the truth, but I’m going to tell you why you might need it and why you might not.

Final Thoughts: I typically have about three moisturizers rotating in my skincare routine at any given time, and this moisturizer has been one of them for a while now. However, when the cold weather hit, I started reaching for my Nutri-Soothing Cream exclusively both during the daytime and the nighttime and I soon realized that it was becoming a favorite. It is also the only moisturizer that I used when my skin had a reaction while I was visiting California and it saved me from having to spaz out and fly back to Virginia early.
This moisturizer is not for oily skin though so don’t do it. I have an oily t-zone, and I can only get away with wearing this one at nighttime during the summer months so like I just told you, don’t mess with this thick cream if you have oily skin but if you have dry or sensitive skin, this one is for you. The things that I enjoy about this moisturizer is that you need only a tiny bit to moisturize your entire face, it looks great under my foundation, my skin looks amazing after I put it on and I stay moisturized. Now one of the things that should be considered is the price. This one is on the pricier side of the market so check out the Bask and Bloom Face Cream if you don’t feel like splurging but still want an excellent moisturizer.
As a makeup artist and makeup lover, I always note how my makeup lays over a moisturizer, and this one has my makeup looking fantastic. The foundation glides and blends so well with it. My sunscreen, the one that peels over almost every other moisturizer, doesn’t peel when applied on top of this one which makes me ecstatic because I hate this sunscreen that I’m testing, but I’m determined to use it up because I spent my money on it. The other thing that I want to note is that like many French skincare products, this one is scented, now I don’t mind the scent if the product works and I don’t break out, and since it works and I didn’t break out, I’m cool with it.
Do you need it? Hell if I know but I want it and I love it!

Quick NOTE: Now originally I had planned on promoing my brand like crazy here on this blog because I truly think it’s a dope brand but clearly I’m biased, and I always want to let you know the reality behind the blog. Real life I use these products daily. Real life they are expensive but even with my gratis and discounts I still find myself spending money on the products that I love from this brand that I represent. (I just pushed through a $200 personal order yesterday.) But I do want you to know that I don’t get paid off of individual sales so if you go to Thalgo.com, that’s between you and corporate! The affiliate links I use on my Thalgo posts are the same that I use on my other posts. In my day job, I partner with licensed estheticians and spas that want to carry Thalgo and use our products in their treatment rooms.
The links below are affiliate links so feel free to click those links if you do want to buy any Thalgo products.
