Sleek Makeup is one of those companies that consistently puts out quality products at affordable prices.  Their highlighting palettes have been around for a couple of years, and although I have reviewed the Solstice palette previously, it took me awhile to dig into Precious Metals.  Precious Metals contains three highlighting creams and one highlighting powder all housed in a sleek, compact palette.

Final Thoughts:

For about $17 (including shipping) you get four highlighting shades in warm, wearable colors.  The creams are smooth and blendable. The powder shade is a little stiff when swatched, but it is still very easy to blend out, and it’s smooth once applied to the skin.  The downside though is the glitter in the two shades in the top row.  There is too much glitter, and the size of the glitter particles are too large which makes them very noticeable. The glitter just sits on the skin, and that is not my idea of a subtle glow at all.  Now I can say that it looks better when applied on top of foundation than it does on bare skin but still it’s not my favorite.  The bottom two shades are much better when it comes to color payoff and not having as much glitter, and I would recommend these two out of the four. Now, to be honest, I would not purchase this palette on my own because of the two top shades, but I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether the price matches the other options inside!
