I don’t need lipsticks, but I want them. I want them all and that is a problem that I’m just going to have to deal with. I saw these on Ulta’s website and I was like gimme, gimme, gimme. Unfortunately, I wanted more shades but those were out of stock so I settled with 4 and I’m in love.
These colors are really gorgeous and I’m currently testing out the formula, but my first impressions were very positive. They wear very comfortably and don’t leave my lips feeling dry. The colors are gorgeous although Sway doesn’t work for me without a liner or the application of additional lip products.
STONE FOX is a deep gray with a blue undertone. The blue really comes through on my complexion. I like the color, but it leans too blue for it to truly be one of my favorites.
SWAY is a Lavender shade. Love the color but it is just too light for me. I thought it would be closer to MAC’s Riri Boy, but it’s definitely lighter. I’ve worn it with a liner, since this picture was taken, and I like it a lot better now.
KITTEN HEELS is a classic red shade that has a slight blue undertone. This is definitely a love for me simply because I love red lipstick so I’m slightly biased and you have to really try to get me not to like a red especially one with a blue undertone.
AMETHYST is a bright purple shade that I LOVE! It is absolutely my favorite shade out of the bunch and will be in heavy rotation for the month of September.

Final Thoughts: Um so the colors are lovely but I would not leave home without taking these with me for a touch-up. The shade Sway performed the worst out of the four and I found that it emphasized the lines in my lips the most. None of them lasted more than 3 hours on me. Amethyst and Stone Fox performed the best, but they all bled when I ate or drank something. They also all transferred onto drinks and straws. Now, for the price, they are very pretty but I won’t be purchasing any more shades but I will be wearing these with a liner and practicing the art of not eating when I wear these.
They never truly dry down to a matte finish but do settle in fine lines. All of them! However, I recently tried a lipliner all over the lips before applying Amethyst and it was gorgeous and lasted me well over 8 hours! You can check that post here!
Have you tried these yet? If so, did you like em?
