I don’t know what rock I’ve been living under but I’m so glad I came out from under it and decided to try the much hyped Colour Pop Liquid Lipsticks (thanks twitter friends)!
Because I love a matte lipstick, I knew I definitely had to try the Ultra Mattes right away so I decided to start with three shades that I knew I would get a ton of use out of. I’m drawn to mauves, nudes and berry shades so that’s what I went for!
Bad Habit – This is the first shade I tried and this mauve-y goodness is a beautiful shade and is great for every day wear. I love this shade for all seasons and it glided on beautifully and lasted all day! (It’s not kiss proof though)
Chilly Chili – Can you fall in love with a lippie? Like for real in love, like love love? Well this shade I am loving! It’s a brown nude with a hint of deep purple and it is gorgeous! I wore this one all day today and absolutely loved it.
More Better – This is my quintessential fall lip look. Love this one with a matte nude eye look and winged liner. (Again not kiss proof though)!

Final Thoughts: The formula is really good especially for a six dollar lippie. They are very comfortable mattes and look lovely on the lips. I’m loving the shades I purchased and I definitely recommend these however, there are some little drawbacks with transferring and leaking.
They are really easy to apply, they dry down to matte within a minute or two (if that) and last all day even with me eating everything! The product does seem to be a bit thin within the tube so be careful when taking the applicator out of the tube because mine did drip. Also, don’t tilt the tube because it will leak out. The lippie also transfers lightly onto cups and husbands, I blotted several times and it still transfered a bit so keep that in mind if that sort of thing bothers you. The transfer is very light and didn’t bother me at all though.
Did you get any of the lippies? If so, what shades and did you love the formula?
