Blend, blend, and then blend some more. You want that foundation to look good don’t you? You want that concealer to stay put right?! Then you need to blend, blend, blend and then you set that! You can do all of this with the beauty blender pro. In today’s feature, I’m going to show four ways that I like to use my beauty blender and tell you a little about this tiny wonder.
First, I like to use my beauty blender to blend out my foundation. I typically apply my foundation with my Real Techniques Contour Brush and after I apply and blend out with that brush, I go back in with my damp beauty blender and blot and blend. This sponge blends out all that excess product and helps give that really natural foundation look. The second way I like to use my blender is to apply and blend my concealer. I tap the concealer in and because of the pointed tip, I can get really close to my bottom lash line. This also blends out all those harsh highlight lines that I sometimes have if I apply my concealer with a brush.
The third way I like to use my blender is to set my concealer and trouble spots. I dab the blender into my powder and then dab it wherever I need to set a cream or liquid product. It helps my powder go on smoothly and prevents it from looking cakey. The final way I like to use my blender is after my face is complete, (foundation, setting powder, blush, contour, and highlight), I lightly go over the entire face to blend everything together.
This is how my face looks after the final blending.
In all four instances, I use the blender damp. I typically dampen it with warm water, then squeeze out the excess water. The warm water not only feels lovely on the skin, it also helps to warm up the products which result in easier blending. Also, when applying the product, bounce the beauty blender lightly on the skin for the best blending experience. beautyblender beautyblender® pro Price: $20 Available at Sephora Final Thoughts: Yes, the blender is the truth.
